The proposed rule would allow for the inspection of tiny homes on-site and at manufacturing facilities, making them eligible for a residential permit.

04.10.2017 Louisiana Revised Statute 32:411(F)(3)(d) provides that rules shall be promulgated as are necessary to implement a digitized driver’s license and that no digitized driver’s license shall be valid until such rules are adopted. Additionally, La. R.S. 32: 32:411(F)(3)(f) provides that the fee to install the application to display a digitized driver’s license shall not exceed six dollars.
The proposed rule provides for the process by which a person will obtain a digitized driver’s license and sets the fee to install the application to display a digitized driver’s license on a mobile device. The proposed rule also provides that the licensee is responsible for the successful operation of the application displaying the digitized driver’s license. The proposed rule is entirely new and no existing rule or fee is proposed to be amended. The anticipated effective date of this proposed rule is upon adoption.
